As a leading figure in Sichuan's medical community, Dr. You has 40 years of experience in neurosurgery and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors and cerebrovascular diseases. He was a pioneer in China for surgical treatment of hypertensive brainstem hemorrhage. Dr. You has profound expertise and skill in performing complex neurosurgical procedures such as surgery for large and complex intracranial aneurysms, intracranial arteriovenous malformations, dural arteriovenous fistulas, and various types of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhages including thalamic and brainstem hemorrhages, reaching international standards. He has been invited to present keynote lectures on the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions at international conferences multiple times. He formerly served as Vice President of Neurosurgery Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association and as a consultant expert for the Bureau of Health Care for Senior Officials. He has mentored over 200 master's and Ph.D. students and has published more than 500 papers in domestic and international journals, including over 400 SCI-indexed papers.
