Dr. Peng holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine from Shanghai Medical College (now Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Maryland Kidney Research Center. He is also recognized as a "Shanghai Advanced Talent in Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine".
His primary research focuses on lipid metabolism abnormalities in the progression of renal disease and the application of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the prevention and treatment of early- and mid-stage chronic renal failure. Dr. Peng is an accomplished scholar with a solid foundation in medical theory and extensive clinical experience. He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases and skilled in various nephrological procedures. Dr. Peng excels in managing both primary and secondary acute and chronic kidney diseases, rheumatic diseases, and renal vascular hypertension. He is also highly skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic glomerulonephritis, chronic kidney disease, and connective tissue diseases, as well as in blood purification techniques.
